Accepting personal responsibility is the first step in really taking control of your life. While it's important to understand the past, acknowledge any injustice there, release shameful feelings -- it's even more important to release it and move on. This is your survivor moment in which you become your own hero. That's where the personal responsibility comes into play. You have a choice of how you live your life. We become mindfully aware of the options that exist in every encounter and become the leader of our own ship.
